Paola Sánchez is a licensed architect in the Dominican Republic and has been working at 4RM+ULA since 2014. She holds a Master’s in Urban Planning and Municipal Government and an Architecture Bachelor’s from the prestigious Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra. Paola has a global perspective shaped by her experience in her country and the United States. She worked on several residential and commercial projects in the Dominican Republic while teaching at an architecture studio in her alma mater. After moving to the Twin Cities, she found a passion for transit and community projects. As a Project Manager, Paola oversees key initiatives that enhance the built environment while prioritizing inclusivity and sustainability. Some of her most relevant projects are the Orange Line Bus Rapid Transit, Great River Landing, 26th Avenue Overlook, and Juxtaposition Arts Art Campus, all of them awarded projects. She also worked in Keystone Community Services, Rochester Rapid Transit, and McNeal Hall at the University of Minnesota. She is committed in creating spaces that honor history, support communities, and integrate urban functionality. Beyond the professional role, Paola is member of the Lilian Wright and C. Emil Berglund Foundation, a nonprofit focused in education for children and youth. She also likes spending time with her family and friends, going on road trips and watching her favorite shows.
