Nathan Johnson is a dynamic architect and community advocate whose innovative approach to design and engagement has redefined urban spaces across the Twin Cities. A proud graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Architecture, he leads with a vision rooted in social responsibility and inclusivity, seamlessly blending creative ingenuity with practical strategies to address community challenges. His work goes beyond architecture—it creates environments that foster healing, growth, and empowerment for marginalized communities. At our firm, Nathan’s leadership drives projects that challenge conventional design paradigms and set new standards for urban innovation. His contributions have been recognized with the 2020 AIA MN Gold Medal Award, elevation to the AIA College of Fellows in 2023, the 2021 Bush Foundation Fellowship, his tenure as AIA Minnesota President in 2018, and the AIA Minnesota 2009 Young Architect Award.
